It goes over the head first, then the side straps wrap around and click into a three-point buckle on the back. Adjusting the fit is quick, and once it’s set the harness stays put. The neck opening doesn’t squeeze, and the chest panel lies flat so there’s no rubbing under the front legs. She’s still learning not to pull, and the high placed D ring gives me enough control to lift her gently back toward me without pressure on her throat.
